Africa’s decentralised water provider
Vision - Africa’s decentralized water provider
Mission - Giving everyone water independence
Product -
- Atmospheric moisture harvesting - super hygroscopic polymer films or LiCl-based hygroscopic composite (Li-SHC) sorbents (salt-based). Sorption, treatment and storage. Open source research - https://www.nature.com/articles/s41467-022-30505-2

- Rain harvesting - Catchment, treatment and storage
Possible use-case
- Different sized, floor standing, mains connected, external units for home -> large estates - containers with polymer and treatment.
- External, wall-mounted ‘Aquawalls’ - similar design and profile to Tesla Powerwall. Possibly open up when it rains to catch more water. Possibly connect direct to guttering above on the roof.
- Rain catchment via semi-porous roof sheeting - building codes would allow +/- 10cm of depth of water weight which would be equal to 9litres per cubic foot / 30 cm cubed.
- Drinking water dispenser
- Open sourced units for plugging into existing plumbing through distribution channels like building merchants and developers.
- Large attic units that sit next to existing hot water tanks and fill them.
- Desktop drinking water
- Bathroom mirror with embedded polymer, treatment and faucet.
