Different sized, floor standing, mains connected, external units for home -> large estates - containers with polymer and treatment,
External, wall-mounted ‘Aquawalls’ - similar design and profile to Tesla Powerwall. Possibly open up when it rains to catch more water. Possibly connect direct to guttering above on the roof.
Rain catchment via semi-porous roof sheeting - building codes would allow +/- 10cm of depth of water weight which would be equal to 9litres per cubic foot / 30 cm cubed.
Open sourced units for plugging into existing plumbing through distribution channels like building merchants and developers.
Large attic units that sit next to existing hot water tanks and fill them.
